Salvation Army Hosts 31st Annual Coats For Kids Giveaway

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Salvation Army is making sure kids stay warm this winter.

On Thursday, they're handing out 8,000 coats at their 31st Annual Coats for Kids Giveaway.

Parents can pick out coats, hats, mittens and snow pants from 10 a.m. until supplies run out at 11 sites across the Twin Cities.

Be prepared to show a photo ID, piece of mail with your zip code and ID's for each child.
