Police Arrest Suspect In St. Louis County Hit-And-Run

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a hit-and-run that left an 85-year-old woman dead Wednesday.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, Florence Mannelin was walking across the 100 block of Broadway Avenue in Gilbert when a car struck her. The vehicle did not stop.

Thursday morning, police located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle and arrested 57-year-old Jeffrey Airhart.
