Voting Machines Tested In Mpls. Ahead Of Election Day

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- With just one week to go before Election Day, Minneapolis officials showed voters Tuesday a test of the city's voting machines.

The machines tested were randomly selected to represent all of the offices on all of the precinct ballots.

The city says it has tested all of the voting equipment -- twice.

State law requires that all voting machines be tested before Election Day.

In Minnesota, most polling places will be open on Nov. 8 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
