Anti-Trump Protesters March In St. Paul, Other US Cities

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Hundreds of protesters are marching through St. Paul Wednesday night in opposition to Donald Trump's presidential victory.

The Metro Transit Green Line stopped service near the State Capitol Building just before 8 p.m. as protesters march through the streets.

The march appears to be peaceful, although a protester at one point burned what looked like a flag. St. Paul police estimate that 400 to 500 people are involved.

CBS News reports that similar protests are occurring throughout the United States Wednesday night, including in Philadelphia, New York City and a massive march in Chicago.

This is a developing story. Stay with WCCO.com as more details become available.
