Police: Truck Driver Injured After Hitting Bridge In St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A truck driver had to be extricated after their vehicle struck a railroad bridge in St. Paul early Thursday evening.

Police say the accident happened on Shepard Road, just west of Jackson Street.

It took firefighters about an hour to free the driver from the truck. The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Shepard Road was re-opened just before 7:30 p.m.
