State Patrol: 1 Dead After Head-On Crash In Eastern Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One person is dead after a head-on crash in eastern Minnesota Monday evening.

According to State Patrol, a Saturn SL2 driven by 20-year-old Dermont Wester was traveling west on Highway 23 in Brook Park around 5 p.m. Wester drove into the oncoming lane of traffic, State Patrol said, and struck a Buick head-on.

Wester received non-life threatening injuries in the crash. The driver of the Buick, 60-year-old John D. Moller of Milaca, was killed.
