Sheriff: Authorities Searching Lake Waconia For Missing Paddle Boarder

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities in Carver County are searching for a missing man after recovering a paddle board from Lake Waconia.

The Carver County Sheriff's Office said they are conducting a diver and recovery search for a 35-year-old man.

A family member found the man's paddle board empty and reported him missing just after 3 p.m. Saturday.

The sheriff's office said they did not know how long they will be searching, but they do have the capabilities to search after dark.

Authorities said they plan to continue the search Sunday if the man is not found Saturday night.
