4 Things To Know: Castro's Death, Recount & The Powerball

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here's a look at the four things you need to know for Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016.

Number One: Miami Reacts To Castro's Death

Miami's Cuban exile community is celebrating after the death of Cuba's former leader, Fidel Castro.

He died at the age of 90 after ruling Cuba for nearly five decades.

U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar says Castro's passing is the start of a new chapter when it comes to the relationship between Cuba and the United States.

His funeral will be next Sunday.

Number Two: Recount In Wisconsin

There's going to be a recount in Wisconsin, and it's the first time that's ever happened in that state.

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein filed the paperwork, and, over the weekend, the campaign for Democratic presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton said it will participate in the recount.

President-elect Donald Trump called the recount ridiculous and a scam.

"We must accept this result and then look to the future," he said.

Number Three: Missing Kayaker

The search continued Sunday morning for a missing kayaker in Lake Waconia.

He is 35 years old. His empty kayak was found Saturday afternoon.

Number Four: Powerball

There is one winning Powerball ticket that was sold in Tennessee that is worth more than $420 million.

There was also a ticket sold in Minnesota that is worth $1 million. That ticket matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball.

The numbers drawn Saturday were 21, 17, 37, 44, 19, and the Powerball 16.
