Neil Diamond's 50th Anniversary Tour Heading To St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- "Hello Again"! Neil Diamond is heading to the Twin Cities for his 50th Anniversary World Tour this spring.

On Wednesday, Live Nation announced the iconic Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member will be playing at the Xcel Energy Center on May 24.

Diamond's anniversary tour begins on April 7 in Fresno, California and travels through cities that include New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver, and Tampa. International dates will be announced soon.

"Neil Diamond is more than just a music icon. His singular artistry and talent has left an indelible mark on American culture and has helped shape the sound of popular music for five decades," said Michael Rapino, President and Chief Executive Officer of Live Nation Entertainment. "Live Nation is honored to be a part of bringing his 50 year anniversary tour to fans around the world."

Tickets for the world tour go on sale on Dec. 9 at LiveNation.com. American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public on Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, Dec. 8 at 10 p.m.
