State Patrol: 151 Crashes Statewide After Overnight Snow

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Overnight snow made for some slippery roads across the state Sunday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says from 7 p.m. Saturday to just before noon Sunday, there were 151 crashes across the state. Of those, 17 involved injuries.

But there were no serious injury or fatal crashes, authorities say. There were also 110 vehicles that either went off the road or spun out.

We'll have a mild Monday before things get much colder around the Twin Cities. By Tuesday, temperatures will fall throughout the day and we'll have single-digit overnight lows by the end of the week.
