Video Of Man Punching Kangaroo To Save Dog Goes Viral

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Over the weekend, a video went viral that's being called one of the "most Australian videos ever."

In a video that's a perfect example of "you can't make this up", a man is seen squaring off with a kangaroo, who had earlier attacked his dog. The man then throws a right hook at the kangaroo, hitting it in the nose and stunning it.

According to the Daily Mail, the man is identified as 34-year-old Greig Tonkins, a zookeeper. He was reportedly out on a special hunt for a dying friend when the kangaroo grabbed his dog, Max.

The incident occurred in June, but recently went viral when it was posted to Facebook.
