Man Gets Tattoo After $5K Anonymous Donation To Cancer Fund
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A day after WCCO aired a story about one man's unique way of helping a friend in need, he's putting his money where his mouth is.
Aaron Shoemaker said if someone donated $5,000 to his friend Josh Heidkamp's fund for cancer treatment, he would get a tattoo of the donor's name. After a story on WCCO Tuesday night, Aaron says a family -- who wished to remain anonymous -- decided to take him up on the offer.
True to his word, Aaron broadcast a live video on Facebook at a tattoo parlor Wednesday evening, where he just finished a getting tattoo that says "Anonymous For Josh."
Despite the large donation, there's still a lot left to be raised. You can pitch in at their GoFundMe page.
