Parts Of I-94 Reopen In North Dakota Following Winter Storm

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Travel is becoming a bit easier in North Dakota where a blizzard earlier had shut down large portions of interstate roads.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation and the Highway Patrol said Wednesday Interstate 94 has been opened from Mandan to Dickinson. That's about 94 miles. Interstate 29 from Fargo to the Canadian border has been reopened, as well as Highway 2 from Devils Lake to the Grand Forks Airport.

Air travel has resumed at the Minot International Airport. Many schools that were closed Tuesday during the height of the storm reopened Wednesday with a delayed start.
