Dept. Of Transportation Considering Allowing Calls During Flights
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The government is proposing that airlines let passengers make phone calls during flights using Wi-Fi.
Some flight attendants and others in the aviation industry say the calls could be disruptive. Airlines would have to warn travelers they allow calls before they buy their ticket.
The Department of Transportation wants to know your thoughts before they implement a policy which would allow mile-high phone conversations.
Over the next 60 days, the Department of Transportation will be gathering public opinion on the subject.
