Lawyer Goes To Court To Halt Neighbor's Holiday Display

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- When it comes to outdoor holiday displays, do you like them bright and loud, or more understated? A New York City attorney says a holiday display blasting music in his neighborhood is a nuisance and he's going to court to make it stop.

The display features figures of reindeer rocking out to the holiday music.

Attorney Nick Wilder says any sane person is going to find it outrageous to hear "Jingle Bells" 800 times in a row.

One of Wilder's neighbors says she isn't bothered by it at all. Other neighbors say they are enjoying the music, as long as you can only hear it on the street, not in their apartments.
