Minnesotan Takes Silver In Cross-Country Ski World Cup

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minnesota athlete took home the silver in an international event Thurdsay.

Jessica Diggins of Afton, Minnesota finished second in the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Another member of Team USA -- Kikkan Randall of Salt Lake City -- took the bronze, while Norway's Maiken Caspersen Falla took the gold.

Diggins, 25, skied for Team USA in the 2014 Winter Olympics in the 15km skiathlon, where she finished sixth.
