MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A deputy fell through the ice and found himself waist deep in water Sunday afternoon in the west Twin Cities metro.

It happened in Gray’s Bay on Lake Minnetonka Sunday afternoon. The deputy was checking on a man who was trying to remove his ice house from the lake.

A nearby Hennepin Water Patrol airboat pulled the deputy from the water without incident.
