Morton Man Gets 15 Year Prison Sentence For Illegally Possessing Gun
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A southern Minnesota man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison last week for illegally possessing a firearm.
According to the Brown-Lyon-Renwood-Renville Drug Task Force, Jeffrey Pendleton's sentencing Thursday stems from their investigation on the Lower Sioux Reservation.
Authorities found a handgun in Pendleton's possession while executing a search warrant. Pendleton is not allowed to possess firearms based on prior convictions, the task force said.
