Sheriff's Office: Man Trapped Under Tractor Tire Found Dead

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 72-year-old man is dead after a crash trapped him under his tractor's rear tire Thursday evening.

According to the Morrison County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred near a residence along Highway 10, about two miles south of Motley, Minnesota.

James Nelson of Motley struck a tree around 5:45 p.m. while backing up his tractor, the sheriff's office said. He was knocked off the tractor and was found dead trapped under the rear tire.
