1 Dead In Linden Hills House Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person is dead after a house fire in south Minneapolis Friday afternoon.

The Minneapolis Fire Department said the fire began just after 3 p.m. in a one-and-a-half story home on the 4100 block of Beard Avenue South in the Linden Hills neighborhood.

Crews pulled a male victim from the second floor, the fire department said. The fire had been mostly extinguished by 4 p.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
