Police: Man Undergoes Surgery After Accidental Shooting At UST
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- St. Paul police say a student was injured Friday night after another student's firearm accidentally discharged inside of a University of St. Thomas residential hall.
The incident happened at about 7 p.m. inside of Flynn Hall. The bullet grazed the top of a male student's head.
University officials say the student -- who they did not want to identify -- underwent surgery for his injury and is now in stable condition.
No weapons are allowed inside the university's residential halls.
St. Paul police are investigating the incident.
