Missing Boater Turns Himself In For Unrelated Warrant
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The man who went missing after a boat accident on the St. Croix River is facing new trouble.
It started around 3 a.m. Sunday near the town of Bayport. A man and a woman were on the boat when it started to take water. The woman made it to shore, but the man was nowhere to be found.
Jason Elgersma, 36, from Minnepaolis was found alive the next day. He turned himself into police for an outstanding warrant that was out for his arrest, which was unrelated to the boat incident.
