Snowy Roads Leave 1 Dead In Aitkin County Rollover Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One woman is dead after her car skidded off the snowy and icy roads in Aitkin County Monday morning.
According to the Highway Patrol, 64-year-old Lorene Kay Weimer was headed south on Highway 169 near Hill City when her 2006 Ford Escape skidded off the road, landing upside down in three feet of water.
Authorities say Weimer died before emergency crews arrived. She was wearing a seatbelt.
