MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in St. Paul are investigating a shooting that occurred late Tuesday night.

According to police, the incident occurred on the 300 block of Burgess Street around 10:30 p.m.

Witnesses said they heard several shots and yelling in the area.

Police said they found no victims at the scene. Shortly after the shooting, a man, later identified as 36-year-old Brock Cecil Larson, was brought to Regions Hospital with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

The shooting is under investigation. This is the 10th homicide in St. Paul this year.
