MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Students, teachers and faculty at St. Paul Public Schools were greeted with a surprise Monday morning.
Around 6:30 a.m., officials at SPPS were made aware that there was an outage to internet and phone services.
According to the district website, “some schools may not be reachable by telephone or email.” The outage affected all schools in the district.
As of 10 a.m., phone and email service had been restored but the internet “continues to experience difficulties.”
The district is currently working on resolving the issue. They are positive it is not related to any malware attacks.
School is continuing as scheduled.
