Survey: Majority Of Americans Say Airlines Need Service Improvements

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The friendly skies apparently need to be a lot friendlier. A new survey shows 90 percent of Americans feel airlines need to improve services.

Fifty-eight percent of Americans say their flying frustrations may make them skip airlines entirely -- and opt for ground transportation instead.

Also, more than 8 in 10 people say an airline would need to offer at least $1,000 dollars to give up their seat on an overbooked flight.
