Ricky Rubio Honors Wolves' Coach Saunders In Farewell Post

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO/AP) -- Ricky Rubio is saying farewell to Minnesota after six seasons.

The Timberwolves traded the Spaniard to the Utah Jazz on Friday.

He paid tribute to late Wolves coach Flip Saunders in an Instagram post Saturday morning, and added "I didn't know much about Minnesota, and now I'm proud to call it home."

Just a few hours after trading Rubio, the Wolves announced that they signed Pacers' point guard Jeff Teague to a three-year, $57-million deal.
