Service Restored To LRT Green Line After Mechanical Issues

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Regular service has been restored to the Green Line LRT services in St. Paul after a brief outage Wednesday morning.

Just before 8 a.m., Metro Transit officials said a mechanical issue was to blame for disruptions near the University of Minnesota-area stops.

Buses were brought in to replace the trains between the Raymond Avenue and West Bank campus stops.

Repairs concluded around 9 a.m.
