MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Ever get frustrated over trying to find a parking spot, or maybe over how much it costs to park?

Well, there may be some validity to that frustration! Turns out, it could be more costly than was previously thought.

A new study said drivers spend 17 hours a year looking for a parking space at a cost of $345 in wasted time, fuel and emissions.

The study shows New York City leads the way at 107 hours a year, followed by Los Angeles at 85 hours and San Francisco at 83.
