Bridge Over St. Croix River Closes After Hole Appears
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A river bridge between Minnesota and Wisconsin closed Friday for emergency repairs.
There is a hole in the deck of the Highway 243 Bridge, which spans the St. Croix River between Franconia Township and Osceola, Wisconsin.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation closed the bridge Friday morning to inspect the damage, and it will stay closed through the weekend for repairs.
Alternate routes include the Highway 8 and Interstate 94 bridges.
