Club Jager Staff Quits After Owner's Donation To David Duke
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minneapolis bar owner who donated money to the former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, is going to have to find new employees.
Workers at Club Jager say they're all quitting after Thursday night's shift. About half the staff quit earlier this week when news broke that DeRoma donated $500 to David Duke's senate campaign.
De Roma told WCCO his donation was "basically free speech." He also called the controversy blown up beyond what it should be.
