Minneapolis Police Officer Arrested For Criminal Sexual Conduct

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A Minneapolis police officer has been arrested, following a report of a sexual assault.

Saturday night, 59-year-old David Edward Campbell is behind bars.

He was arrested Friday by the Bloomington Police Department as he was leaving an area hotel.

Campbell is being held on probable cause third degree criminal sexual conduct at the Bloomington Jail.

  1. Last month, I reported a dog stuck in a hot car. The dog turned out to belong to this officer, and he was incredibly rude and intimidating to me (or would have been, were I easily intimidated) – standing extremely close to me, telling me to mind my own damn business. Par for the course, nobody at MPD responded to my complaint. Maybe now he’ll be off the streets.
