Gathering In Downtown Mpls. To Protest White Nationalism
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Members of the Twin Cities community are standing together against white supremacy Friday as part of a nationwide movement.
The group of some 300 protesters, according to police, gathered at the Government Plaza outside the Hennepin County Government Center in Minneapolis, then marched through downtown to arrive at Loring Park.
Organizers say these marches are a call to action against the rise in white nationalism, neo-Nazism and white terrorism they've seen across the country.
