Massive Crow Populations Spotted In Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- We've received a lot of emails about the crows people are seeing around town.

Thousands of the big black birds are suddenly being spotted in the cities perching on trees or blanketing the sky.

Crows usually roost in rural areas. But in the winter, they come into the city for the same reasons many of you do: to eat, exchange information with others and to find a mate.

They head back out of town in February and March when food becomes easier to find.
