MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A missing plane has been found after Sauk Centre Police said it disappeared late Tuesday.

The airplane was a fixed-wing single engine plane.

Authorities said that the plane was missing, and the pilot’s car was still at the Sauk Centre Airport.

On Wednesday morning, authorities said the plane was found located south of the airport, in a field east of Highway 71.

Authorities said that it appeared to be a fatal accident.
