Bloomington Fire Dept. Rescues Dog That Fell Through Thin Ice

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Bloomington Fire Department is reminding the public to be careful around lakes and ponds after a dog fell through thin ice and needed to be rescued.

On Wednesday morning, the fire department tweeted a picture of the rescue showing an emergency responder rescuing the dog.

Fire officials say the incident occurred at a pond located on the 8200 block of Penn Avenue South.
