Police Step Up Presence After Red Wing HS Social Media Threat
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Extra officers were called to Red Wing High School Wednesday following a threat a student reportedly received on social media.
The Red Wing Police Department says a student reported around midnight that they received a threat on Snapchat.
Officers investigated and found the threat not credible.
As a precaution, extra officers were assigned to the school Wednesday to ensure safety.
The threat remains under investigation.
