Police: Body Of Missing Woman Found In Chippewa River

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The body of a missing woman was discovered in the Chippewa River Friday afternoon.

Chippewa Falls police say Donna Karlen, 57, was reported missing early Thursday morning.

Two fishermen reported seeing a woman's body Friday at about noon near the Lake Wissota Hydro Dam. A ground search led crews to the body near the north bank of the river.

Foul play is not suspected. The Chippewa County Sheriff's office is investigating.
