The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Thursday they’re going to try and play an NBA regular season game for the second time this upcoming season in Mexico City. The Timberwolves will be the home team when they face the Houston Rockets on Nov. 12 in the Mexico City Arena.

Hollins Set For Wolves Pre-Draft Workout Group

Former Gophers standout Austin Hollins will take part in a pre-draft workout for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves announced a list of six pro prospects scheduled to be on the court for drills in front of team officials at Target Center on Thursday, including Hollins, Louisville forward Chane Behanan and Oregon forward Mike Moser.

No such luck for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA draft lottery. Again. The Timberwolves received the 13th pick in the lottery on Tuesday night, which is exactly where they were slotted heading into the annual drawing. The Timberwolves have never improved their draft position in franchise history.
