Five people suffered minor injuries when a passenger bus went off the road and into a field in southeastern North Dakota. the driver of the Jefferson Lines bus told police that the brakes failed while he was trying to exit Interstate 94.
Authorities say an 86-year-old woman was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck in Becker County. The crash happened along Highway 10 on Thursday afternoon at about 2 p.m.

Demolition began on the Hastings Bridge this Wednesday, as motorists in the Twin Cities bid farewell to “Old Blue.” Crews started tearing down the landmark bridge at 7 a.m. The demolition crews will begin by removing the decking on the downtown side.

Authorities are investigating why a Twin Cities bus crashed into a ditch in St. Paul Thursday morning. The incident happened at Shepard Road and Interstate 35E. Authorities said the bus had no passengers on it at the time of the crash.
