Driver Killed In Crash With Train Identified

The driver who died Wednesday after colliding with a train in west-central Minnesota has been identified. Police said that Lisa Daleo, of Alberta, Minn. was killed in the crash, which happened just after 2 p.m. on West 5th Street, about 150 feet west of Atlantic Avenue.

1 Dead After Car Goes Off Bloomington Ferry Bridge

One person was killed after losing control and plunging off the Bloomington Ferry Bridge Friday morning. According to the State Patrol, the Buick LeSabre lost control on an icy patch of road while traveling southbound on Highway 169.

As Winter Moves In, DPS Warns Of Driving Safety

With more snow forecasted to move through Minnesota over the next few days, the Department of Public Safety has reminded drivers to use extra caution. There were four fatal crashes throughout the state amid Monday’s snowfall, including one on Interstate 94 involving a jackknifed semi.

Family Devastated After Girl, 13, Dies In Crash On Way To School

The Minnesota State Patrol says they are investigating a fatal crash that happened near Milaca Tuesday morning. Few details were immediately available, but the crash happened along Highway 23 at 127th Avenue, about a mile to the west of the city’s elementary and high schools.

A driver was taken into custody after striking a worker with the Minnesota Department of Transportation on Interstate 94 Sunday evening. The crash happened near 42nd Avenue South in Minneapolis, the State Patrol said. The worker was clearing debris from the road when he or she was struck.

Motorcyclist Killed After Swerving To Avoid Deer

A motorcyclist that swerved to avoid striking a deer in the road was killed in a crash near Black River Falls Tuesday afternoon. The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the scene at Oakridge Road about a half-mile north of State Highway 27.
