Authorities say they are investigating a fatal head-on collision that happened at about noon on Monday. Investigators have not released many details about the incident, but it involved two vehicles driving along Interstate 35. The crash happened near milepost 36, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
State troopers say alcohol may have been a factor in a rollover crash that killed an 18-year-old woman near Elko over the weekend. Jordan Reigh Huver of Prior Lake died of head injuries sustained in a crash that happened Saturday about 3:30 a.m.
Two children have died and three other people have been injured in a collision between a truck and an SUV in Pierce County. Sheriff’s officials say a 12-year-old girl in the vehicle died at the scene of the crash Thursday afternoon in Prescott.
The driver who died Wednesday after colliding with a train in west-central Minnesota has been identified. Police said that Lisa Daleo, of Alberta, Minn. was killed in the crash, which happened just after 2 p.m. on West 5th Street, about 150 feet west of Atlantic Avenue.
