Powderhorn Park will celebrate the Fourth of July with The People’s Festival — an afternoon of activities, food and entertainment in the park. Festivities will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4, though no fireworks are scheduled.

St. Paul

Saint Paul’s annual July 4th fireworks display will take place following the Saints game against the Joplin Blasters on Monday at approximately 10 p.m. The actual time of the fireworks will vary depending upon the time the game ends. All are encouraged to pack a blanket, travel by light rail, bike or bus and enjoy the free fireworks display from nearby Indian Mounds Regional Park or Lower Landing Park.

Albert Lea

There will be one of the largest fireworks display in southern Minnesota at Fountain Lake at 10 p.m. on Monday, July 4th, and will be visible at all spots around the lake. The annual Albert Lea Fourth of July parade will take place the morning of Sunday, July 3rd.

Alexandria

Details: Star Storm 2016 is back again this year with the remarkable fireworks show over Lake Darling at Arrowhead. The show begins at sundown on Monday, July 4th.

Andover

Fireworks will kick off on Sunday, July 3rd at 9:30 p.m. at Hayes Stadium on 495 Main Street. Rain date is set for July 9.

Annandale

One of the longest standing Fourth of July traditions in Minnesota is the annual celebration in Annandale, put on by the Annandale Chamber of Commerce.

Apple Valley

Freedom Days takes place from June 27 to July 4 this year. Fun run, parade, carnival and live music are to be expected. A fireworks display will begin at 10 p.m. from Johnny Cake Ridge Park East, located at 5800 W. 140th Street.

Bemidji

Date: June 29 – July 4
Time: Gates Open at 4 p.m. and Fireworks start at 10:10 p.m.

What’s an Independence Day celebration without fireworks? Have your cameras ready and be prepared to be amazed by a fireworks display like no other Firework Extravaganza on July 4 at 10 p.m. at the National Sports Center, 1700 150th Ave NE. The best place to watch is Aquatore Park.

Bloomington

Summer Fete starts at 5 p.m. on July 3 and celebrates Independence Day with a kid’s carnival, live music, and plenty of food and drinks. Fireworks will begin around 10 p.m. which are launched from Chalet Road near the Hyland Lake Ski Jump.

Chaska

The city of Chaska sponsored fireworks is at McKnight Park starting at 10 p.m. on July 4. The best viewing is from McKnight Park, Jonathan Elementary School, Jonathan Square, and the Home Depot parking lot. Most people flood the Chaska Commons Shopping parking lots. Fireworks are launched from Lake Jonathan and the parking lots are directly across the highway providing for a great view. There is even a fireworks tent in the parking lot for last minute purchases like sparklers and other fun toys.

Coon Rapids

Coon Rapids Fireworks are in a new location this year.

Guests who are not in the park can still enjoy the thrill of one of the largest fireworks shows in Minnesota by parking outside the park along Highway 13 where there is plenty of parking to accommodate all viewers along the frontage road.

Shoreview

The Waconia Lions Present: 4th of July Fireworks Over Lake Waconia: A fireworks display will take place at approximately 10 p.m. on Monday, July 4th.

Walker

Walker’s Old-Fashioned 4th of July is back and will take place on Monday, July 4th at Walker City Park. The fireworks display will be shot off over Leech Lake at dusk, with many different viewing spots.

White Bear Lake
