Today is the Governor’s Fire Prevention Day at the Minnesota State Fair.

Until 1 p.m., early bird specials are being offered at the Mighty Midway and Kidway rides, games and concessions.

At 10:10 a.m., there will be a flag raising and memorial service to honor fallen Minnesota firefighters at Leinie Lodge Bandshell.

There’s a Fire Explorer Challenge in Carousel Park where youth firefighters compete in safety challenges, CPR and AED demonstrations, fire extinguisher training and more.
