Kevin Harvick led twice for two laps Sunday, both times under caution. After running in the top five for the first part of the race, he faded late, but didn’t give up and rallied for a strong second place finish.
2 Joey Logano Joey Logano 324
Joey Logano led from pole and a total of 94 of the 400 laps. However, he lost speed late in the going and had to make a charge toward the front, settling for fifth at the end of the day.
3 Martin Truex, Jr. Martin Truex, Jr. 315
Martin Truex had another strong run. After a disastrous outing at Bristol the week prior, Truex avoided trouble Sunday, ran in the top five for a time and came home with a respectable 10th place.
4 Jimmie Johnson Jimmie Johnson 299
Jimmie Johnson had a busy day. He started 36th and struggled to fight his way through the field. He sustained damage in the process, yet he still somehow managed to finish third.
5 Brad Keselowski Brad Keselowski 283
Brad Keselowski ran strong much of the day, leading for a time. Engine issues late in the going doomed him, however, and all he could do was hold on for a 17th place finish.
6 Kasey Kahne Kasey Kahne 275

Kasey Kahne seemed to struggle most of the day, never running near the leaders. But as the laps wound down, Kahne made a late race charge and came home sixth.
7 Matt Kenseth Matt Kenseth 273

Matt Kenseth started eighth and made a brief appearance inside the top five, but soon faded. At the end of the day he settled for seventh.
8 Dale Earnhardt Jr. Dale Earnhardt Jr. 271

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. never really had the speed to run inside the top 10. A late race dust up with Tony Stewart left him with damage, fuming and with a 14th place finish.
9 Jamie McMurray Jamie McMurray 264

Jamie McMurray has been showing some speed this season and Sunday was no exception. He was a contender all day and had the fastest car on the long runs. He led four laps, but a short run at the end of the race left him behind and he finished fourth.
10 Jeff Gordon Jeff Gordon 263

Jeff Gordon made an appearance inside the top five late, but didn’t have the speed to make a run at the lead. He came home eighth.
11 Aric Almirola Aric Almirola 250

Aric Almirola started 27th and worked his way inside the top 20, but contact with another car left him with damage. He finished 20th.
12 Denny Hamlin Denny Hamlin 245

Denny Hamlin led all but two laps en route to winning Friday night’s Xfinity race. There was none of that domination Sunday. He struggled all day and finished 22nd, two laps down.
13 Paul Menard Paul Menard 239

Paul Menard had another quiet day, as per his typical style. Menard started 15th and that’s where he finished.
14 Clint Bowyer Clint Bowyer 235

Clint Bowyer was able to put in a good day’s work on Sunday. After a few races of misery, Bowyer avoided trouble and came home with a solid top 10, finishing ninth.
15 Ryan Newman Ryan Newman 234

Ryan Newman continues his climb back into the standings after being penalized by NASCAR. On Sunday he started 23rd and came home 11th.
