Why just feature these pretend dogs?
I went thru the first 20 slides and gave up…
Because I had not yet seen a real dog…
that can work and hunt and … be dogs!
    Very disappointed…

I get what you’re saying Chris. Yes, each dog is unique and bred for their specific traits. But we can all agree…none of these dogs was breed to be pampered, fluffed, sprayed, combed and brushed like they are. This is like a beauty pagent for dogs…yes the dogs look nice…but they arent real dogs the same way beauty pagent contestants aren’t “real” women.

And…these dog people are crazy btw…the movie Best in Show, not only hilarious, but accurate too!!!

Please wake me up. I’m looking at a Komondor right now. He’s my third, keeps my home and acreage safe, and is a serious leaner. Beats being bored.

All dogs regardless of breed were bred for type and almost all have a job from chasing vermin, tracking, sighting, signaling and so forth. To dimiss them because they don’t hunt birds is just bias getting in the way of learning to appreciate the difference in standards and conformity that every breed of dog has to offer.

Like my 2 year old said, “That kitty barks!!!”

Some of this has to be an embarrassment against nature…

You don’t think a poodle is a hunting dog?? Chris, you really need to do your research!

  • Luke

    you guys are funny.

  • Sini

Wow, Standard Poodles were bred as hunting dogs. As a matter of fact we owned one that was one of the best bird dogs that my father ever owned. He swam like a fish, pointed and retrieved extremely well without much training. I think you need to do you research.
