I grew up listening to Baseball in Eastern South Dakota on WNAX or WCCO> Firs Halsey Hall and Herb Carneal and then John Gordon and then Dan Gladden. We lived in Pierpont , Near Aberdeen after we wer married for 10 years before moving to Iowa In 1998. I took my girls to Meet John in Aberdeen When he came with Al Neuman and Scott
Erickson. It was a pleasure to meet him. I will always remember the many games with
John on the radio. John you will be remembere for the “touch em all ”
I hear it some time today, but that was Johns trade mark. To the best Baseball Announcer You will be missed. Take Care John and enjoy life with your wife and your
family. I remember your first game on the radioo John. Hope to see you some time. Stop in DesMoines some time.
Long time listener , Now in Ankeny Iowa, Dale Johnson
