Andover Man Sentenced For Killing Girlfriend’s Son

An Andover man was sentenced Friday to more than 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to unintentionally killing his girlfriend’s young son in September of 2011, court documents show.

A 39-year-old Minneapolis man is accused of whipping a 3-year-old developmentally delayed boy near his private area after the boy had problems with toilet training, according to charges filed Tuesday in Hennepin County Court.
