All week long, the WCCO Morning Show team is taking its inspiration from America’s Olympian athletes, who are skiing down runs at 90 miles per hour, doing triple toe loops with grace, and curling with great aplomb.
Last week, WCCO anchors competed in basketball, beach volleyball and badminton as part of the Anchor Olympics. On Thursday, it was track day, and Chris Shaffer and Frank Vascellaro got a much needed lesson on running sprints.
WCCO has been putting its twist on the Olympics with the Anchor Olympics. However, Amelia Santaniello was out sick on Tuesday so Frank Vascellaro was put through the paces by Minneapolis Rowing Club’s Ann Schley.
