If you are out and about shopping today, and you see one of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettles, consider making a donation.
Someone is once again leaving generous donations in the Salvation Army’s red kettles. One thousand dollar donations have shown up in two red kettles in the north metro area.
The 2012 bell ringing season started Saturday at the Twin Cities Salvation Army’s “Rock the Red Kettle” kickoff event at Cub Foods on 5937 Nicollet Ave. in south Minneapolis.
This season of giving will be one to remember for the Salvation Army. From the get-go, the organization needed to raise more than ever through its red kettle campaign.
