Lakeville Man Arrested In 31-Year-Old Murder Case

A 53-year-old Lakeville man has been arrested in connection to a 31-year-old murder case that happened in Denton, TX, according to police. On Sept. 30, 1983, 42-year-old Francisco Narvaez of San Antonio was found dead in a local motel. Denton Police investigated, but tips and leads went cold.

Man Accused In Officer Shooting May Have Gotten Breaks From The Law

The man charged with shooting and killing a Mendota Heights police officer is being called a career criminal. Brian Fitch Sr. is accused of shooting and killing Officer Scott Patrick during a routine traffic stop in West St. Paul Wednesday afternoon. Fitch had three outstanding warrants during the alleged shooting.

Activists Stand By Al Flowers In Wake Of Arrest

Community activists are standing by one of their own after Al Flowers says he was assaulted by police at his home in south Minneapolis. Flowers was arrested Saturday after police say he didn’t cooperate with them as they issued a search warrant for the arrest of his 16-year-old daughter.

Students In Waseca Return To School After Foiled Attack

Students are back in a southeastern Minnesota school after authorities last week foiled a teenager’s suspected plot to attack the school. Counselors were on hand Monday as students returned to the Waseca junior and senior high school building that was the target of the alleged plot.
