Fmr. Richmond Mayor Arrested On Suspicion Of Embezzlement

The former mayor of the small Stearns County city of Richmond has been arrested and released. Scott Kron is under investigation for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the town’s baseball association. Kron resigned his office earlier this summer citing health and personal reasons.

A Hutchinson man has been arrested and charged in connection with the disappearance of Christopher Rossing. Robert Nuttall, 28, was specifically charged with kidnapping. Rossing has not been found.

St. Paul Man, 26, Charged In Fatal Shooting

A 26-year-old St. Paul man faces a second-degree murder charge in connection to the shooting death of 24-year-old in St. Paul Tuesday evening. The man charged, Ibrahim Mohammed Abdullahi, will make his first appearance in court Friday afternoon.

A Little Canada chiropractor accused of sexually assaulting a patient still has an active license to practice. That means right now he’s still allowed to see patients during the investigation. Paul Thompson was arrested two weeks ago after a patient told police he raped her and had touched her inappropriately before.

2nd Suspect Arrested In Mankato Assault, Nelson Dismissed From Rutgers

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a weekend fight that left a former Minnesota State, Mankato, linebacker critically injured. As news of the second arrest was announced, Rutgers also announced they’ve dismissed former Minnesota quarterback 20-year-old Philip Nelson from its football program.
